The only way for me is to make copies from my computer (laptop). I don’t understand how to scan. I just take pictures with my phone and email the pictures. So yes you can make copies from your computer

Every single one that I have replaced with a used or new part has just died again. Mostly an overvoltage problem with the main board. In my opinion throw away the whole printer and invest in a more reliable brand. The fact that HP (Hunka Piece’a garbage) sells servers, laptops and desktops proves that HP wears too many hats and can’t focus on what they do best – printers. I would recommend Brother or Epson.

Do the latest firmware updates fix this problem? Because if they aren’t, why ask people to update the firmware? It won’t work!! HP should really issue an advisory at this point, because their engineers should know what the problem is by now. Why won’t HP tell us the truth so we can move on?
If it’s out of warranty, you can pretty easily replace the screen yourself, but if some other component causes the failure, guess what? It won’t be long before it happens again!!
For those with a technical bent, used and new parts are available on the Internet (Google CM 750-60021 for the display and CM750-60001 for the main logic formatter board). The original suppliers of these parts are in China (cheap and bad junk) but you can pay almost the price of a new printer. That’s why HP only replaces printers when they’re under warranty.
